Dan Bancila is an accomplished Romanian artist who has exhibited extensively throughout Asia and Europe including the Japan Glass Fair in Tokyo, the Art Glass Exhibition in Gdansk, Poland, the Contemporary Glass and Crystal Sculptures in Europe in Giege, Belgium and even the Museum of Glass in Corning in the U.S. His mouth blown glassworks incorporate twists and turns and swirls of metal upon deep hues of glass in the art nouveau style.  Bancila’s one-of-a-kind pieces are, frankly, not easy to come by.  He works in a remote area of Romania and generally doesn’t accept custom orders.  We can promise only what is in stock and will keep our eyes open for new pieces.  However, if you seek a custom piece, we’ll be pleased to try to arrange it for you.
